Walk, Run to Battle Cancer at Ridley Creek State Park Sunday
A nonprofit dedicated to helping local families battling cancer with financial assistance, will host a 5K Run and 1-mile family fun walk on Dec. 4 at Ridley Creek State Park.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the run/walk start time is 10 a.m. on Sunday. Participants should meet at Pavilion 17, 351 Gradyville Road, in the park.
The Great Guys Group was created after founder Paul Isenberg’s wife, Nicole, became ill with cancer. They became overwhelmed with treatments and balancing family life and Nicole suggested they host an event to reconnect with friends and donate the money to local cancer organizations.

While Nicole lost her battle in August 2003, her legacy lives on. The Great Guys Group continues to grow and carries on Nicole’s original mission and remains a tribute to her courage, strength and life.
