Wind Chill Warning in Place for Area

Temperatures could drop below freezing.

A wind chill advisory is in effect for Chester County, including Malvern and West Chester, through 11 a.m. Wednesday morning, according to a release from the National Weather Services (NWS).

Wind chills as low as -15 are forecasted to hit the area, the NWS says in its advisory.

"Very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills," the NWS says in its release. "This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors, makes rue you wear a hat and gloves."
