Located at the cul-de-sac end of Winding Way, Down East Park is a small neighborhood park with limited street parking. Down East features a playground with swings, a jungle gym and slides. A few picnic tables are available. The park also features a basketball court with two nets and a field bordered at one corner by a curved, baseball-style fence.
Down East Park is also a trailhead for the Chester Valley Trail, near its intersection with Route 29. A short path connects Winding Way and the paved trail.
