It would be a MUCH better idea to have complete lists of obituaries in Patch rather than just one atRead More a time, since most people don't receive daily newspapers anymore to keep up with the people we are losing in our communities and over our lives.

Not all Patch sites are bad. Radnor and Tredyffrin Patch sites make an effort to report local newsRead More and those editors actually go to meetings. The problem with Malvern Patch is the current editor does nothing and what nothing he does is done poorly and his regional editor doesn't seem to care. There are Patch sites I have seen in other areas of the country are quite good.

Thank you for the tribute to this remarkable lady, whom I remember always with a smile on her face.Read More Always there with a ready hand to help others. The town needs more Sadies, not more traffic or buildings! I can only picture the reunion of her and her old pals in Heaven -- the laughter, "Mrs. Mac's" jokes -- and PLENTY OF GOOD MALVERN FIRE CO AUXILIARY FOOD! Remember Monday night monthly potluck dinners???? Oh my!

Thank you Regina. What a nice tribute to someone who must have been a terrific person. I reallyRead More wish I had the time/ability to get over to the historical society to research more of what this area was really like in the late 1800s and early 1900s. My own grandmother was brought out here to be taken care of by the nuns at the convent on Marshall St. when her mother died. I think it was back in 1900-'01. I want to "picture" in my mind how she got here (by horse and carriage as Sadie did ?). It is all so fascinating. I will try to draw up anything the Historical Society has on the Internet now that I'm thinking of it after reading Sadie's obituary and your comment. I love how you "picture" the reunion of Sadie and her "pals" in Heaven. I like to do that too. ;o>
