This is what a great community looks like :-) A huge thank you to the leaders of this effort; theyRead More had so much in place within such a short time for we citizens to help. Well done! To all the local businesses who were so quick to assist, another huge thank you. Consumers won't forget. And to the trash collection crew on the scene; they should be recognized for their heroic effort and quick thinking, along with the firefighters and police on scene. From a grateful Malvern resident.

Tom Fillippo -- one of the best to come out of the Twin Cities: Devault/Cedar Hollow. And with hisRead More faithful pal, Bob Riley -- must be something in the water down there, they never get older! Wish I had a motorcycle to enter! Am dangerous enough on two feet let alone two tires! Will take the grandkids down to Chi-Chi Hollow & participate in this exceptional event.

I met Bruno and Sam a few times as part of our impromptu group of dogwalkers over at the PaoliRead More Battlefield. Bruno was a gentleman dog, very sweet. I'm sure he will be missed by all those he touched. Sending comfort to Sam on the loss of your dear friend and companion.

Bruno was loved by many. Please know that lots of kids and parents loved him.

Is there a parking plan or is it basically a free for all?
Rowland Watson September 29, 2012 at 09:52 pm
Use Septa lot and enter behind shopping center
John and Laura Lotz September 30, 2012 at 02:42 am
Both of the Septa lots - behind the Malvern Shopping Center off West King St and the lower lot offRead More of N. Warren are your best bet. After that there is a small municipal lot on East King at Church. There is an assortment of on street parking throughout the Boro. Hope to see you there!

Crap happens, those who are quick to critisize should spend some time with the vol. Fire companies.Read More Thank god for them. I did that at one time it is so time consumming most people can't believe. Be thankful they are doing it while the whiners. Cry

Listen to yourselves...shame on you! Things happen...it's no one's fault! Nor does it define who isRead More a professional and who is not. Kudos to the person who reminded the opinionated individual about "capacity"! Yes, be thankful!! And keep your nasty comments to yourself!

The young man should have learned a lesson from this. It would be up to the Chief to determineRead More that. If he has learned a lesson let him remain with the department. Mistake and a life lesson. I'd be gald to see him if I had a fire or an emergency he responded to. On any given day drive up and down Rt. 30 and you will have a good chance of seeing the same gesture by our good citizens.
hometownkid July 11, 2012 at 08:04 pm
For all of those who believe the solution is as easy as to get rid of the firefighter in question iRead More would enjoy seeing you give as much time as many of the volunteer firefighters in your community. This was no doubt a stupid move on the part of the firefighter but i don't think it gives you the right to crusify the kid for what he's done. Make sure he learns his lesson and move on. If it was a firefighter from your township protecting your house and your family i bet it would be different.
bonnie330 July 12, 2012 at 09:26 pm
He is a kid. Young people do stupid stuff, and that is how they learn. Forgive him - and thenRead More thank him for his time spent volunteering to help us all.
