Offices, Self-Storage Coming to Route 30 and Old Lincoln Highway

The project will include a new turning lane and traffic light.

The earthmoving equipment near Lancaster Avenue and Old Lincoln Highway is clearing the land for a new office building. The site will become the corporate headquarters for CubeSmart, a NYSE-listed self-storage company formerly known as U-Store-It. The new building in East Whiteland will consist mostly of class-A office space for the 160 employees currently working out of the Wayne office, but a portion of the building will be used for self-storage. Township manager Terry Woodman explained in an email that the development will include a couple of traffic changes. Developer: The Whip Tavern Coming to Malvern

Eli Kahn told stakeholders that the East King Street Revitalization project will likely take about 18 months to complete.

"By the time I'm finished this meeting, another building will probably be down," Eli Kahn said Wednesday morning. Less than a mile away, demolition had quietly started on East King Street. Kahn, the developer behind the East King Street Revitalization project, was in the Malvern Borough administration building, explaining to residents and businesspeople that the construction will probably take about 18 months to complete.
