Robber Steals Girl Scouts' Cookie Cash in Berwyn

Police are looking for a man who committed the strong-arm robbery Sunday afternoon.

Tredyffrin Police are searching for a man who took money from a Girl Scout cookie sale booth at the Pathmark on Swedesford Road in Berwyn. Police say the strong-arm robbery occured just before 5 p.m. Sunday afternoon. According to police, a man approached the cookie booth and took an unknown amount of cash from the scouts. WEGO Police Arrest Man for Robbery Outside Wawa

Ryan Bailey, 24, allegedly claimed to have a gun when he confronted a Wawa customer and demanded his wallet and cell phone.

Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police have arrested a Philadelphia man for a Dec. 27, 2012, robbery outside the Wawa market on the 1500 block of Paoli Pike, just west of the Willistown border. According to police, Ryan Bailey Jr., 24, and two other men followed the victim from Harrah's casino in Chester Township. Detectives were able to track the credit card activity and use video surveillance to identify Bailey. He is charged with robbery, criminal conspiracy, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, access device fraud, identity theft and terrorist threats.  Read the full article on West Chester Patch.

Updated: Photo, Description of Paoli Bank Robber Released

Update 12/4/12 7pm: Police have released photos of the car used by the robber. Original Story: Police have released a photo pulled from surveillance video at the Paoli TD Bank that was robbed Tuesday afternoon. According to a Willistown Police press release, the man in the photo entered the TD Bank at 131 Lancaster Ave. just before 5 p.m. He presented a note to the teller demanding money and claiming that he had a bomb. The press release contains a description of the robber: The suspect demanded US Currency and fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a male, possibly Asian, approx. 5’10, husky build, wearing blue jeans, dark colored jacket, dark colored baseball hat and dark colored gloves. …

Updated: TD Bank in Paoli Robbed

The male robber made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The TD Bank in Paoli was robbed Tuesday afternoon. According to Willistown Police, a man entered the bank, implied he had a weapon and left with an unspecified amount of money. He escaped on foot, heading west on Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue). A K9 unit from the Chester County Sheriff's office aided in a search for the suspect, but he had not been apprehended as of 7:30 p.m. Officers from East Whiteland, Malvern Borough, Easttown and Tredyffrin also aided in the search effort. More details and a surveillance photo of the suspect is expected for public release soon.
