NWS: Wind Advisory For Region

Strong winds are expected until 6 p.m. Friday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a wind advisory through 6 p.m. Friday for Chester County and surrounding counties. Winds are expected to be between 20 to 25 mph per hour, with gusts up to around 45 mph, according to the NWS. Strong winds can possibly bring down tree limbs, as well as trees themselves, and power may go out. The winds may make it difficult to drive "high profile vehicles," especially on bridges and roadways, the NWS cautions.  About this column: The information in the weather report comes from the National Weather Service.
