This weekend, The Picket Fence hosts a wine event, and Human Rain Delay rocks Redhound Grille.

Warm up a chilly weekend with some wine and music. Get in the holiday mood with a walk down King Street during Malvern's Victorian Christmas. Stop by The Picket Fence's open house featuring wine from the Black Walnut Winery. After dinner, head to the Redhound Grille for an evening of music from Human Rain Delay. This Is One Busy Saturday

There's lots to do in Malvern this weekend. Let's hope the weather cooperates.

Today looks to be one of the busiest Saturdays in a long time, as far as large community events go. If you don't have plans yet, check out some of the ideas below. All of the events are rain or shine, except for Touch-a-Truck, but the organizers recently announced on Facebook that "Kids love trucks rain or shine," so it looks like everything is a go. Touch-A-Truck: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at General Wayne Elementary School, 20 Devon Road, Malvern, PA, $5 per person or $20 per family. Kids get to see and climb aboard some cool vehicles, including cement trucks, fire engines and diggers. Fall Family Fun Festival: Noon - 6 p.m. at the GVFL practice fields, 19 N Bacton Hill Road, Malvern. Entrance is free, but there are costs for some of the games …

Eager to spend some time outdoors? Kennett Square is celebrating the annual Mushroom Festival, and there is a Family Arts Festival at the Main Line Arts Center as well.
