Replywhy is the theater closing "breaking news" ? after a week of breaking national news, it seems a little bit silly to call a theater closing breaking news....more of a 'yawn". when there's a patch email with breaking news i open it thinking it's something that warrants my attention- a sudden road closure or pipe bombs in a park----

Reply"equestrian oriented"? People who like horses eat out more? Or have more cash to spend? Or its tied to "the Whip" theme?
the design shortcomings are a concern if that is going to deter other restaurants! -

just tossing in my 2 cents on the landscape ideas--a MIX of evergreens is a safer bet for long term fast growing screening. All one species of anything is risky- ice damage, bug damage and fungal disease will damage the whole row. I have the Green Giant Thugas and they are not deer resistant as advertised and get mealy bugs--they are sparser than advertised too, having grown tall rapidly but thin-can see right thru 'em! Good luck with your meeting-

ReplyAgree with James and ML that by college age, students should be "mature" enough to make their own healthy or unhealthy decisions. But there seems to be another theme of universal healthcare that everyone should be fit so they do not cost the rest of society in medical expenses....i do not subscribe to that thinking but we may see more PE requirements in the future to "teach" healthy choices in food and fitness (ala NYC big gulp, transfat ban).

ReplyIf you look at the aerial view of the north side, the office bldg closest to Central and N Valley intersection---it sits on an angle turning away from Central---it was located there in anticipation of straightening Central east of N Valley to align with Central on the west side of North Valley---and how many years ago was it built? If they have any sense at all they will incorporate upgrading that intersection into this plan. A 600 car garage dumping onto Rt 30 and N Valley will be a mess.

Agreed. Can anyone confirm this was an Inn back when Swedesford road was the major east west route? We know the White Horse Tavern at Swedesf. and Planebrook was an Inn and likely the home at Swedesford and Conestoga---but this one? Would seem like alot of Inns/Taverns but then again, there were no Super 8's!
